Terms of sale
All the conditions listed below are subject to Legislative Decree 206 of 2005 – Consumer Code.
The offer and sale of products or services on the website www.kontedesign.com are governed by the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing the website www.kontedesign.com, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, you may not use or access the website www.kontedesign.com. The website www.kontedesign.com may be used solely and exclusively for personal purposes. Use of the website for commercial purposes is prohibited.
Commercial line
The Selling Company offers products for sale on www.kontedesign.com and conducts its e-commerce business exclusively with its end users, hereinafter referred to as “Customers” or, in the singular, “Customer.”
Delivery and costs
All products purchased on the website will be shipped within 2-4 business days of receipt of the order, unless otherwise indicated in the offer. For custom-made items, however, up to 5 working days may be required.
Items will be shipped via GLS, SDA, or BRT couriers. Delivery times are 24/72 hours for Italy and 48/96 hours for Europe.
Shipping in Italy is free for orders over €79.99.
Shipping costs in Europe are as follows:
– €39 for chairs and other lightweight products
– €99 for heavy and bulky products
Standard Delivery
Standard delivery of products purchased on Konte.Design is understood to be at street level. This means that the courier will deliver the product to the main entrance of the address provided by the customer, without further transport within the building.
Returns and refunds
If an order, or part of it, does not satisfy the customer, they will have 14 days from receipt of the goods to request a return.
The purchased item must be prepared in its original packaging, including all its parts, and the company will arrange for collection from the customer’s address.
The product will first be collected and, once received at our warehouse, replacement goods will be shipped or a refund will be issued.
In the case of products shipped on pallets, the customer must also keep the pallet so that the company can collect the goods.
Within 5 working days of receipt of the goods, a refund will be made, net of collection costs, equal to:
Italy:
– €30 for shipments up to 20 kg
– €60 for products shipped on pallets or packages weighing more than 20 kg
Europe:
– €30 for shipments up to 20 kg
– €100 for products shipped on pallets or in packages weighing between 20 kg and 50 kg
– €130 for products shipped on pallets or in packages weighing more than 50 kg
Konte.Design warranty conditions
All products sold on www.kontedesign.com are covered by the 24-month legal warranty provided for by Directive 2019/771/EC and the Consumer Code.
The warranty covers conformity defects that occur within two years of delivery and is only valid if the product has been used correctly, without modifications or misuse.
What it covers
– Manufacturing defects or structural problems within 24 months of delivery
– Repair or replacement of the product (or parts thereof), at the discretion of Konte.Design
– Transport damage detected upon delivery, to be reported within 6 days of receipt
What is not covered
– Damage due to misuse, incorrect assembly, or unauthorized modifications
– Wear and tear due to normal use (scratches, marks, discoloration, wear of felt pads/rubber pads)
– Damage due to exposure to sunlight, heat, humidity, atmospheric agents, or contact with water
– Damage caused by aggressive detergents or unsuitable chemicals
– Accidental damage or non-compliant transport after delivery

After verification, Konte.Design will replace or repair the item in accordance with the law.
Payments
Payment for purchases is made on the day of the order by credit card (VISA, VISA ELECTRON, MasterCard), PayPal (MasterCard, VISA, VISA ELECTRON), Scalapay, or Google Pay. If payment is made via PayPal, the charge or refusal will be immediate. If payment is made by bank transfer, we will wait for the payment to be received in the Company’s bank account. In accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy, we do not store your bank details in order to ensure greater security in the processing of personal data. The Customer is required to record and print the payment details if they wish to keep a record of their bank transaction.
If you buy with Scalapay, you will receive your order immediately and pay in 3 installments. Please note that the installments will be transferred to Incremento SPV S.r.l., related parties, and their assignees, and that you authorize such transfer.
Invoicing
Please note that in order for a tax invoice to be issued, it must be requested at the time of ordering, whether you are a private individual or a company, otherwise no tax document will be issued by us.
Security
The website www.kontedesign.com uses PayPal for credit card payments. The information you enter regarding your credit card details will be sent to PayPal via a secure server that uses 128-bit SSL3 protocol, the highest security standard for sending sensitive information over the Internet. The SSL protocol is issued, certified, and guaranteed by VERISIGN.
The system operates on two levels of control simultaneously: 128-bit SSL3 protects the transmission of your data from your browser to the PayPal server, making it unreadable to third parties. Verisign certifies with a Secure Server ID that you are communicating solely and exclusively with the PayPal server. Therefore, credit card details are processed exclusively by PayPal for the checks necessary to authorize online payment.
Fashion Commerce S.r.l. will therefore not have access to credit card details, but will only manage the customer’s details (name, surname, address, etc.) necessary for sending the products to their home address.
